Perimenopause & Women’s Health in 40s Workshop Queenstown NZ
BALANCE HORMONES NATURALLY, REDUCE STRESS, AND RESTORE YOUR ENERGY

Time: Monday, May 25th, 6 pm – 7.30 pm
Place: Te Atamira, Building 11, Dart House, Remarkables Park Town Centre, 12 Hawthorne Drive, Frankton, Queenstown, New Zealand
Are you a woman in your 40s or late 30s and experiencing mood swings, increased stress levels, sleepless nights, anxiety, crashing energy levels, weight gain, brain fog, or hot flashes, not knowing what to do about it? If you answered yes, then this Perimenopause & Women’s Health in the 40s Workshop is a right fit for you.
The Perimenopause & Women’s Health in the 40s Workshop focuses on understanding the changes that your body goes through in your 40s and during perimenopause. The modern world often demands women in their 40s to do more, work harder, look after family and kids, which can have a toll on your hormones and overall health.
This workshop is an invitation for you to take time off for yourself to understand what your body is going through in perimenopause and your 40s, and how to respond to it properly. The tricks that used to get you results in your 30s, unfortunately, often no longer work in your 40s. In this workshop, you will learn practical tools to balance your hormones naturally, boost energy levels, and reduce stress by working with your body rather than against it. You will also learn what it means to eat, exercise and operate like a woman in your 40s, taking into account your hormonal cycle, nervous system, gut health and changing hormonal needs.

Women’s Wellness Coach Laura Virkkala
This Perimenopause & Women’s Health in the 40s Workshop is guided by Women’s Wellness Coach Laura Virkkala, who coaches women to truly thrive in everyday life by balancing hormones naturally, optimising nutrition, sleep, and reducing stress.
Laura brings together integrative nutrition, yoga, life coaching and behavioural science to help women better understand their minds and bodies. She is a certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, NLP Life Coach and Yoga Teacher, with a background from a hectic corporate world and academia.
Laura’s approach to holistic health and wellbeing is based on science and learned experiences from her own health journey. Laura’s holistic health journey began with a diagnosis of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), followed by severe burnout, chronic fatigue and gut dysfunction due to years of toxic mould exposure. After struggling to find answers within conventional healthcare, she turned to nutrition, stress reduction, sleep optimisation and lifestyle changes to support her recovery. Through this process, Laura was able to restore her energy levels, reverse PCOS hormonal disorder, rebalance her hormones and regain her health. Now, Laura wants to support other women on their health journey, so that they can live their best lives and thrive.
