Women’s Wellness Workshop Queenstown NZ
BALANCE HORMONES, REDUCE STRESS, AND RESTORE YOUR ENERGY

Sunday, March 15th, 4 pm – 5.30 pm
Sherwood, 554-558 Frankton Road, Queenstown, New Zealand
Join a women’s wellness workshop focused on supporting your hormonal balance, boosting energy levels, and reducing stress by working with your body rather than against it. The modern world often demands women to do more, move faster and push harder. This workshop is an invitation for you to slow down, reconnect and restore your energy levels.
You will learn what it truly means to eat, exercise and operate like a woman, taking into account your hormonal cycle, nervous system and changing hormonal needs rather than following one-size-fits-all models, which are often based on how male bodies function.
This Women’s Wellness Workshop includes a talk on how to balance your hormones and moods, how to reduce stress, boost your energy levels and workouts with a female specific model based on cycle syncing and nutrition. You’ll also be guided through calming meditation and breathwork exercises to help regulate your nervous system and gently bring you into a deeply relaxed state. Throughout the workshop, you’ll learn practical tools and techniques to support your body and mind to gently bring your body out of survival mode back to balance.

Women’s Wellness Coach Laura Virkkala
This women’s wellness workshop is guided by Women’s Wellness Coach Laura Virkkala, who coaches women to truly thrive in everyday life by optimising nutrition, sleep, balancing hormones, and reducing stress.
Laura brings together integrative nutrition, yoga, life coaching and behavioural science to help women better understand their minds and bodies. She is a certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, NLP Life Coach and Yoga Teacher, with a background from a hectic corporate world and academia.
Laura’s approach to holistic health and wellbeing is based on science and learned experiences from her own health journey. Laura’s holistic health journey began with a diagnosis of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), followed by severe burnout, chronic fatigue and gut dysfunction due to years of toxic mould exposure. After struggling to find answers within conventional healthcare, she turned to nutrition, stress reduction, sleep optimisation and lifestyle changes to support her recovery. Through this process, Laura was able to restore her energy levels, reverse PCOS hormonal disorder, rebalance her hormones and regain her health. Now, Laura wants to support other women on their health journey, so that they can live their best lives and thrive.
